DESCRIPTION

Glyether Product EJ-400 is a reaction product of epichlorohydrin and polypropylene glycol, and EJ-400 is a flexible, low viscosity, epoxy for use in coatings and adhesives. This resin serve as the basis for advanced polymers for a variety of water-borne and solvent-based coatings. Although many different commercial applications can benefit from the improved flexiblility and impact properties offered by this resin, it is particularly beneficial in construction and civil engineering applications. In this context, the pot-life of a formulation can be extended by adding EJ-400 to aromatic epoxy binder systems. EJ-400 epoxy resin can be cured with various hardeners through the epoxide groups. Resulting in highly cross-linked thermoset polymers having good impact resistance, good resistance to chemical and solvent resistance.

USES.

Glyether Product EJ-400 epoxy resin is a compatible with both bisphenol-A and other epoxy resins, adding highly cross-linked thermoset polymers having good resistance to impact strength and good elongation. Their epoxy functionality permits them to cross-link with hardeners and become part of the cured system.

APPLICATIONS

Glyether Product EJ-400 epoxy resin is a ideal for adhesives, laminate, and water soluble additives applications.. Also it is used as a material, improver and cross-linking agent of various polymer.
