DESCRIPTION

Glyether Product EJ-C1400 epoxy resin is an σ-Cresol Novolac Epoxy Emulsion epoxy resin. EJ-C1400 epoxy resin will impart both higher reactivity and crosslink density to epoxy resin formulations. Resins are derivated from an ortho cresolformaldehyde novolac which is then reacts with epichlorohydrine to form a polyepoxide. The molecular weight of the novolac determines the molecular weight of the polyepoxy resin whose functionality may range from 2.5 to 5.5. Polyglycidyl ether type EJ-C1400 epoxy resin is used to modify standard epoxy resin formulations to improve flexibility and high distortion temperature. This epoxy resin functionality permits them to cross-link with hardeners and become part of the cured system.
Glyether Product EJ-C1400 resin is ideal for adhesives, tire cord laminate and wet lay-up applications. Glyether Product EJ-C1400 resin can be cured with various hardeners through the epoxide groups. Resulting in highly cross-linked thermoset polymers having good mechanical properties, good resistance to chemical and solvent resistance.

USES.

Glyether Product EJ-C1400 epoxy resin is a curable with both amines and blocked isocyanate emulsion resins, adding highly cross-linked thermoset polymers having good resistance to chemical and solvent resistance. And improved impact strength to end products. Their epoxy functionality permits them to cross-link with hardeners and become part of the cured system.

APPLICATIONS

Glyether Product EJ-C1400 epoxy resin is a ideal for adhesives, laminate, and polyester yarn laminating varnishs. Also it is used as a material, improver and cross-linking agent of various polymer.

STORAGE

Glyether Product EJ-C1400 EPOXY RESIN should be stored in tightly sealed containers in a dry location at temperatures between 10 and 35°C. Do not freeze.
